Good to know.
- How does style change the price?
- Detail and time. A fine line piece or micro realism takes more hours than a simple blackwork shape of the same size, so it costs more. Each card shows the lowest price for a small tattoo, or the typical range when studios do not publish one.
- Can I mix styles in one tattoo?
- Yes, many artists blend styles, for example fine line florals with a dotwork frame. Tell the studio what you want when you send your request, and check their portfolio for work that looks like your idea.
- Can a studio cover up an old tattoo?
- Often. A cover-up is usually bigger and darker than the tattoo under it, so expect a larger size and a higher price. Include a clear photo of the old tattoo in your request.
- How do I pick a studio for my style?
- Open a style below to see the studios that do it, then compare their prices by size, their reviews and their area. Studios post their own portfolios, so look at recent work before you send a request.
